YouTube Premium (previously YouTube Red) is a paid streaming subscription service exclusively for YouTube in the United States, Australia, Mexico, New Zealand and South Korea. It provides advertising-free streaming of all videos hosted by YouTube, offline play and background playback of videos on mobile devices, access to advertising-free music streaming through Google Play Music, and formerly, access to "YouTube Premium's Original series and films". And thanks to YouTube contacting Joey Graceffa and he had the idea to create the challenge based surreality show based on a deadly dinner party called "Escape The Night".
Access to YouTube Originals were formerly only offered to YouTube Premium subscribers. When it came to a series, like Escape The Night, only the first episode would be free to the public. As of 2020, YouTube has made all YouTube Originals free for the public to watch.
