The Wooden Stake of Van Helsing is a weapon in-bueded with the blood of a thousand deceased vampires meaning it can kill any vampire. They used the stake to kill Morgan and Dorien.

Episode 1 - The Masquerade Part I[]
After Joey and Liza freed each other they found a book explaining about the stake of van helsing and how it was imbued with dark magic in the blood of vampires and that it was hidden to stop it being the death of the king of vampires they then find it after solving a puzzle.
Episode 2 - The Masquerade Part II[]
Joey then stab the vampire guard blocking their escape and later he kills the king of vampires with it and then we don't know what happens to it after that.
