A Saloon Girl (made up widows or other women who could not be supported by a man) worked under a Madam, or a woman that could legally hire women for work that sometimes included sleeping with male patrons, though some places made sex illegal. However, this was rarely enforced as Saloon Girls boosted the local economy. The truth is, most of their money actually came from drink sales, where they would make about $10/week (about $200 today). Saloon Girls were also highly respected by men, even the saloon owners requiring patrons to treat the Saloon Girls nicely, and not doing so often got them permanently kicked out of the saloon, ostracized from the community, or even killed. Some of the first settlers of the Old West were, in fact, Saloon Girls, and if it were not for them, there would not be an Old West.

A Hollywood Star is an actor or actress who is famous for their starring, or leading, roles in motion pictures. The term is used for actors or actresses who are marketable stars and whose names are used to promote movies, such as in trailers and posters.
A Con Man is a man who cheats or tricks someone by gaining their trust and persuading them to believe something that is not true. This a shortened term for Confidence Man, and the long-form of Con, which not only refers to the person but the act they play for their victims.
