The Jar of Souls is an item featured in Season 4 of Escape the Night. It resides inside the Museum of the Dead and is owned by The Collector. It’s original purpose was to store the dead guests that she could not fit in the museum’s YouTuber Exhibit, but they were later freed by Joey Graceffa after she was turned to stone by the Sword Of All Legends. She intended to feast upon their souls.

- Fans have spotted Shane, Lauren, Jesse, Safiya, and Manny in the soul jar.
- In The Museum of Death Part 1, Liza Koshy escaped from her glass case in The YouTuber Exhibit, but was soon killed by The Collector in the room the jar was stored in and had her soul stored into it.
- There are also some behind-the-scene reasons as to why some guests were in the jar:
- Shane: He was wanted by Joey to return, but was unable to because of scheduling issues.
- Lele: She was asked by Joey to return several times, but she never responded.
- Liza: She was originally going to be part of the main cast, but was unable to due to last minute schedule changes with her Nickelodeon show Double Dare and schedule conflicts with her Liza on Demand show.
- Safiya: She was not asked to return because Joey didn’t think she would participate in the season.
- Manny: He was not asked to return because of him having public image issues at the time of casting, and he also had a temporary friendship fallout with Joey. But, they have since become friends again.
